THUNDERCAN® is an antimicrobial additive suitable for use in a wide variety of materials such as paints and coatings or polymer materials.

It has been specially designed to be added in the manufacturing process of finished products.
The antimicrobial property prevents the growth of bacteria, molds, fungi, and bad odors.

Results of the antibacterial activity of the active ingredient

Tests conducted by the Institute of Toxicological Hygienic and Environmental Sciences at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” (Test Report No. 1/B/P/L.) demonstrated the antibacterial efficacy against strains such as:

• Legionella pneumophila
• Staphylococcus aureus
• Clostridium perfringens
• Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• Listeria monocytogenes
• Escherichia coli
• Salmonella cholaeresuis

Analyses showed that in the tested bacterial strains, there was a reduction close to 100%.
