We have been working with IonicBall since 2020 in evaporative coolers.
We wanted to evaluate its effectiveness on the bacterial stabilization of water also due to the Legionella risk and got a positive result.
As already reported, we have also done some field tests with the Ionicball in other applications. We are currently testing Ionicball in the bathroom area of a UZ Hospital here in Belgium.
With Ionicball, the build-up of limescale deposits is significantly reduced, resulting in less toilet downtime due to scaling on flushing systems and the use of anti-scale descaling products in toilets. Significant long-term savings in hours for technical maintenance and cleaning. We have noticed that it prevents biofilm in toilets, looks more hygienic and gives a greater sense of quality and cleanliness for visitors. No odor during intensive use, no need to use deodorants.
Again, this translates into cost savings by avoiding the excessive use of chemicals (scale inhibitors and detergents), which also benefits the environment and puts less strain on the water treatment system.
